Almost half of Irish adults regularly participate in sport and physical activity. 34% of adults meet the National Physical Activity Guidelines by participating in at least 30 mins of moderate or greater intensity physical activity at least 5 times a week.

There are many benefits of being physically active including:

  • Improved mood, energy and sleep
  • Reduced risk of disease
  • Strengthening of bones and muscles
  • Increased ability to perform everyday activities and tasks
  • Helps maintain a healthy weight
  • Increases your chance of living for longer

Taking two and a half hours out of your week to exercise is 4.2% of your weekly time. Surely your health is worth this time?! Getting started is the hardest. Remember, you will never regret becoming more active. Check out our programmes and find one that is suitable for you.
