S.P.O.R.T. – Supporting Positive Outcomes in Recovery Together

Our S.P.O.R.T initiative (Supporting Positive Outcomes in Recovery Together), aims to support those aged 18+ who are in recovery for drug or alcohol addiction, by providing positive lifestyle alternatives through the medium of sport and physical activity. The S.P.O.R.T programme will complement individuals existing treatment and aftercare plans and help fill the void left after their substance misuse, helping them to become active and contributing members within their communities and in their local sports clubs.

The programme is coordinated and facilitated by LSP staff & tutors and takes place in Residential and Community based Addiction Treatment Centres.

S.P.O.R.T. is currently funded by Sport Ireland/Dormant a/c’s and the Midwest Regional Drug and Alcohol Forum.

For more information on the S.P.O.R.T programme, please contact Liam by email or call 061- 524976.
