Operation Transformation Minimum Fitness Tests
Operation Transformation in collaboration with DCU School of Health and Human Performance, have developed the Minimum Fitness Test.
 
This test will identify where you fit within the minimum standards of physical fitness & give you a target fitness to aim for.
 
The Minimum Fitness Test is designed to demonstrate the minimum fitness standard for your age & gender and to give you a target to aim for.
 
Have you attempted your Minimum Fitness Test?
 
Don’t worry if you didn’t reach the target in your first attempt. Note down your result & aim to improve on that figure. Every step towards the target figure is an improvement.
 
Don’t worry if you cannot meet the fitness standards set out first time round, Limerick Sports Partnership can help you improve your fitness levels. See below:

Ireland’s National Physical Activity Plan recommends adults get a minimum of 30 minutes exercise 5 days a week and children get 60 minutes.

If you are following Operation Transformation, why not test your fitness levels using their Minimum Fitness Test.

The following tests are designed to show whether or not you fit within the minimum standards of physical fitness. If you don’t pass on the first attempt, keep using the OT exercise plan to improve your strength and fitness and try again in a few weeks.
