Sailing into Wellness Programe

The SIW and LMHA team are passionate professionals in the recovery and sailing sector. This educational and therapeutic sailing program helps people in recovery from poor mental health and addiction.

They are offering the opportunity to 10 – 12 organisations, each doing a day with us Sailing on the Shannon. It really is a fantastic experience.

Sailing into Wellness makes recovery about living.  This sailing program is an educational and therapeutic activity designed to inspire our communities. We support our participants to overcome both physical and mental challenges in an environment that is both exhilarating and therapeutic.

Location: Ilen, Foynes Yacht Club (See image attached)

Booking with:

Group’s size: 10

Cost: €460 (€46 pp)

Dates Available

11th, 12th, and 13th May

25th, 26th and 27th May

1st, 2nd and 3ed June

8th, 9th, and 10th June


Bookings will be accepted on a first come basis, booking deposit of €260 required.

GROW Mental Health

GROW Mental Health Recovery is launching a six-week initiative to help ‘Create Hope and Stay Positive’ in the face of Covid-19.

With the aid of the GROW Program we will address the various challenges of accepting the situation, dealing with isolation and coping with anxiety by helping you stay positive, look after yourself and create routine and balance.
