Woodlands for Health
An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Friday, repeating until June 16, 2023
Woodlands for Health is a 12-week, woodland-based, guided walking programme for adults availing of mental health services and supports in Ireland. Woodlands for Health is an accessible and sustainable way to make nature part of the toolkit for supporting mental health.
The concept of the programme is simple, taking a walk in a ‘green space’ such as a local park or woodland area.
The walks will take place in Curraghchase woods.
The walks begins at 11am.
A bus will be provided for those who need transport from Arthur’s Quay Park in Limerick City to Curraghchase.
The bus will leave Arthur’s Quay Park at 10:20am. Note: there are limited bus spaces.
When Registering, please choose whether you would like to avail of a place on the free bus service or whether you will travel to Curraghchase separately.
