Community Walking Activator Leaders Workshop

This workshop will enable participants to:

– Lead outdoor Activator Sessions with older adults or people with reduced mobility.
– Instruct the Activator technique
– Demonstrate how Activator Poles can be used to enhance key components of functional fitness.
– Participants should member of a community group/organisation and have previous experience of using Activator Poles
– Be aware that they will be expected to take a leadership role in promoting the use of Activator Poles

Suitable for adults over 18 years of age, who would like to encourage and motivate people in their community to get active through a walking programme

* Please note as there is limited space on this workshop a max of 2 people per group will be allocated a place. Additional participants will be added to waiting list and when a space becomes available they will be notified. Please note that refunds will not be given for unattended lessons.
