Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis.
Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26–40 round holes, over a net.
We are looking for interested people to try and learn about a new fun and friendly sport here in Limerick, delivered by our qualified tutors.
We are running a Pickleball event for 5 weeks, for people aged 55+, integrating new and existing players into the game of pickleball.
We are running this Programme in two locations:
UL Sports Arena (Mondays, 10:15 am-11:15 am, 15th Nov – 13th Dec) For UL Location (See Poster)
or
Newcastlewest Community Hall (Thursdays, 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm, 25th Nov – 16th Dec) For Newcastlewest Location (See Poster)
