Do you sit at a desk for long periods throughout the day?
Desk to 5km is a 6 week ‘Couch to 5km’ style beginner training programme aimed at anyone who would like to increase their physical activity levels to progress from walking/jogging 3km, to completing 5km at the end of the 6 weeks. Desk to 5km normally takes place in various locations every Spring in the lead up to the Great Limerick Run.
2022 Desk to 5km will have both PODCAST & GROUP SESSIONS!!!
Completing 3 sessions per week over 6 weeks- you will progress from ‘Desk to 5km’ following the training programme developed by Athletics Ireland.
Our team will guide & motivate you through the sessions as you listen to the ‘follow along’ Podcasts, or take part in the group sessions in Raheen & Castletroy
