Do you sit at a desk for long periods throughout the day?
Desk to 5km is a 6 week ‘Couch to 5km’ style beginner training programme aimed at anyone who would like to increase their physical activity levels to progress from walking/jogging 3km, to completing 5km at the end of the 6 weeks. Desk to 5km normally takes place in various locations every Spring in the lead up to the Great Limerick Run.
2021 Desk to 5km will be in PODCAST FORMAT!!!
Our team will guide & motivate you through the sessions as you listen to the ‘follow along’ Podcasts. Completing 3 sessions per week over 6 weeks- you will progress from ‘Desk to 5km’ following the training programme developed by Athletics Ireland.
