Beginner Level Training Programme

Do you sit at a desk for long periods throughout the day?

Desk to 5km is a 6 week ‘Couch to 5km’ style beginner training programme aimed at anyone who would like to increase their physical activity levels to progress from walking/jogging 3km, to completing 5km at the end of the 6 weeks. 

This year, we have a little help from our friends – Joe O’Connor, Ireland’s Fittest Families and Lilly-Ann O’Hora, Athletics Ireland who provide tips and advice while you train, as this year the programme is in a NEW podcast format.

6 week programme begins Monday, 1st March

*** Participants receive a FREE high vis jacket, a snood, and an LSP Keep Well Booklet***

Our team will guide & motivate you through the sessions as you listen to the ‘follow along’ Podcasts. Completing 3 sessions per week over 6 weeks- you will progress from ‘Desk to 5km’ following the training programme developed by Athletics Ireland.
