Getting Limerick Active
We are delighted to once again be hosting our annual Christmas Blanket Walk / Run in aid of Local Homeless Charities. 🏃 🚶

All proceeds will go to very worthwhile local charities St. Vincent de Paul & Thomond House, who do amazing work providing support services for people at risk and homeless in Limerick.
This event is open to all the family, where participants can walk, jog or run the distance. The Golden Mile in UL is roughly 2km, so you can run 1 or 2 laps and even add a smaller loop to make up 5km if you like!
Buggies are allowed and please keep your dogs on a lead.
There is no fee for this event, but we are asking participants to donate clean blankets or a shoebox with items such as new underwear, socks, hat, gloves, toiletries etc. for either a male or female adult in urgent need of supplies this Winter Limerick. Note: Please mark the box male or female.
