Getting Limerick Active
The Limerick Sports Partnership is delighted to offer people the opportunity to participate in a Christmas 5km event that supports Local Homeless Services.
The Blanket 5km enables people to give the gift of warmth at Christmas time. There is no fee for this event, but we are asking participants to donate clean blankets or a shoebox with items such as new underwear, socks, hat, gloves, toiletries etc. for either a male or female adult in Limerick. Please mark the box male or female.
We ask that you refrain from including items such as razors, food (apart from sweets), used underwear, medication, or anything breakable. For more information please contact Tracy on 061333600 or email tmahedy@limericksports.ie .
